On October we met in Beit Tionei America in Tel Aviv, when we watched an extraordinary film called: “Operation Wedding” – The real story of a group of young Russian Jewish dissidents plots to hijack an empty plane and flee the USSR. Filmmaker Anat Zalmanson-Kuznetsov reveals the compelling story of her parents and answered questions from our members. Prior to that we had an opening speech made by Prof. Irwin Cotler who was  the Member of Parliament in Canada, and served as the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada .A chief counsel to the Canadian Jewish Congress and a human rights activist that fought for the liberation of Russian Jewry.
